Does TI have any full duplex RS485 transceivers that can operate at 1.8V?

Hi Adam,

At the moment, unfortunately not. We have the half-duplex SN65HVD01 device which can support a 1.8-V IO voltage rail. Two of those devices could be used if the application were full-duplex rather than half-duplex. Alternatively, a full-duplex device supporting higher voltages like THVD1451 could be paired with a level-shifter device.

Thanks Max. For the THVD1451 does it hold the bus in '0' when not powered or does it behave as high-z?

Hi Adam,

The bus lines will be high-Z when the THVD1451 transceiver is unpowered so that communication among other, powered nodes is not disturbed.
