TUSB1002A: Differential Impedance for USB 3.2 signal

Part Number: TUSB1002A

Hi,

We are running a project using the TUSB1002A redriver to boost the USB 3.2 signal.

We have a question about layout guildline, please check High-speed Layout Guildlines for Signal Conditioners and USB Hubs.

In this document, you recommend using 90Ω differential impedance for the USB 3.x signal.

In the USB standard, the differential impedance is defined from 72Ω to 120Ω . (Table 6-18, page 82, USB 3.2 Specification Rev 1.0)

We wonder if we can use 100Ω impedance for the USB 3.2 signal?

Thank you.
