SN65DSI86: Did SN65DSI86 will replace the eDP DPCD data directly?

Hi Sir,

Our customer would like to re-confirm if SN65DSI86 got the capability to replace the DPCD contents? Or we are the salve to follow the i2c commands to address the DPCD data?

The default on DSI86 0x5A bit2 is 1, would it makes the setting on DPCD 101h bit7 become different?

No, you have to use the DSI86 I2C-over-AUX to program the eDP DPCD register.

Thanks David, just re-confirm it... due to customer doubt we will overwrite the DPCD when we change the register on DSI86.
