Hi Team,

My customer is looking for Serdes solution just transfer general purpose I/O without extra register configuration.

below is customer I/O requirement,

Frequency : 20MHz

We would like to confirm if DS90UB913A-Q1/ DS90UB914A can use for pure I/O serdes without extra register configuration?

No, our FPD-Link can transmit such higher clock freq. over the cable, for the back channel GPIO, the rate is limited at ~100KHz due to back channel rate limitation.

for forward, if you use D0-D9 / PCLK to transmit the GPIO signal, the request is that all these signals are sync. with PCLK input signal. So our FPD-Link can't be used if all GPIO signals are async. in your case.
