DS250DF410: Does DS250DF410 support Polarity inversion

Hi team,

I checked the datasheet and found few information about Polarity inversion for the retimer. I just want confirm that whether the retimer does support polarity inversion or not. If so, what is the modification needs to be done in term of register setting? Thanks.

Hi,

The DS250DF410 does support polarity inversion. See below excerpt taken from the retimer programming guide.

6.10 Invert Output Data Polarity

Invert the polarity of the output data.

Quick question on this- when polarity inversion is supported, it means that the polarity does not care at all right? i.e. the input polarity of the retimer can be opposite to the output of retimer right?
