TCAN1042G-Q1: Interface CAN Transceiver to RH850 micro.

HI ,

we have interfaced TCAN1042G to RH850P1L-C micro.Micro runs on AUTOSAR code.we connected tx,rx,stdby pins to micro CAN TX,RX,dio pin and proper supply is provided to transceiver.

And standby pin is made to low to make transceiver into operational mode in autosar application.

Are there any necessary initializations needed.

    Tulasi,

    Since the TCAN1042G-Q1 is just a CAN PHY transceiver, there is no digital configuration other than applying power and making sure the STB pin is in the right state for normal operation. The device should correctly translate the micro signals to the CAN bus.
