DP83822I: How to force LED_0 to ON or OFF

Hi Experts,

My customer is failing LED_0 pin to set ON or OFF. They write LEDCR(0x18) bit 1 and bit 4 to "1". But LED_0 does not output high. LED_0 is used as PD with 2Kohm resister in parallel with LED.

After issuing software reset ( write 0x8000 at resister 0x1F), LED_0 can be controlled.

Do you have any idea why LED_0 does not output high without software reset?

Hello,

When you see the issue, can you please read back the register 0x18 after programming it? Lets check if the programming is working fine (without writting 0x1F).

Hi Vikram,

Customer confirmed that the read back value was expected one which was the same as programming data.

Do you have any idea about what is preventing from LED_0 ON/OFF control?

Hello Uchikoshi,

Is customer programming some registers other than 0x18 after power up? If so can you please share them. I am also checking what can mask these led configuration bits.
