DP83TC811S-Q1: failed clear SGMII interrupt

Hi team,

customer use TI DP83TC811S-Q1 in MDM9628 platform, have some board can't communication issues. it report failed clear SGMII interrupt.

below is report log:

1. qcom-emac 7c40000.qcom,emac eth0: error: failed clear SGMII irq: status:0xc1 bits:0xc1
2. qcom-emac 7c40000.qcom,emac eth0: error: failed clear SGMII irq: status:0xd7 bits:0xd7
3. qcom-emac 7c40000.qcom,emac eth0: error: failed clear SGMII irq: status:0xd5 bits:0xd5
4. qcom-emac 7c40000.qcom,emac eth0: error: failed clear SGMII irq: status:0xdf bits:0xc0

Have you seen the similar issue before? what will cause the fail of clear SGMII interrupt? does it related to hardware? 

how to fix this problme? thanks,

    Hi Betty,

    I am not familiar with this failure as I have not tested with this platform before. Is the issue showing that no communication is being made at all?

    1, Have you confirmed your setup and straps are configured correctly for SGMII?

    2. Have you tried doing an external loopback on the SGMII portion of your PHY to see if you are still seeing communication issues?
