DS90UB913A-Q1: PCLK needed to send I2C over FPD-link III?

Part Number: DS90UB913A-Q1

Hello team,

I'm using DS90UB913/914 in PCLK mode.

Is PCLK needed to send I2C over FPD-link III?

I'm asking because PCLK doesn't output unless the camera setting is done by I2C at the initialization.

So I'd like to check if the I2C for the camera setting can be configured through the FPD-link III.

Regards,

Itoh

  • Hi Itoh,

    1. if the PCLK is not alive, the i2c link between 913a and 914a still can work with internal osc clock

    2. when PCLK is available, the i2c link is based on the PCLK

    3. during the transition between PCLK and internal osc clock, the i2 link could be unstable!

    regards,

    Steven
