Hello Guys,

Good day.

A few questions from our customer:

1. Can we set DS250DF230 Retimer address to 0x19 or others?
2. If item1 is YES, How can we do that? and have special setting or another?
3. If item1 is NO, so address can only be set to 0x30~0x4E ?
4. If address setting resistance is not 1K, 10K, 20Kohm & Float, then what value is DS250DF230 Retimer determine?

The retimer would respond to 0x19 depending if 7-bit addressing is used by the SMBus software and its ADDR pins are correspondingly set. See guide table below.

4. If address setting resistance is not 1K, 10K, 20Kohm & Float, then what value is DS250DF230 Retimer determine?

The retimer should have a tolerance range within each resistance value where the corresponding pin strap configuration still takes effect.
