DS250DF230: frequency characteristic of CTLE

Hi:


I'm using DS250DF230  in the design at 10.3125 Gbps .

I want to  manually set the EQ value (i.e. no adaption mode).


The data sheet indicates that  combined equalization supporting 35-dB channel loss at 12.9 GHz.
Please tell me what the frequency characteristic of CTLE will be like at 5GHz.

    Hi,

    For the highest DS250DF230 Rx CTLE setting the boost at 5GHz is around 7dB. The retimer Rx DFE may provide 5+ dB of additional boost. In addition the TX FIR taps can provide additional boost in the order of 8-10dB.
