Hi Team 

We are using TUSB8044, just  want to have one  clarification why   1M ohm resistance is  required bet two  XI and XO pin 

  

Kindly refer to above  wave shape  at XI and  XO  pin and  let  me know  following  

1) why  XO wave  shape  is  getting distorted  ? 

2) How  i can correct  these  wave shape  ?

    Hi Abhishek,

    What is the difference between the two scope plots, both are marked XO?  

    Also while the first one is slightly distorted, it is a valid clock.

    Hi  JMMN 

    Apologies for  my mistake. Second  image  is for  XI  not  for  XO . Below  are  my  queries  

    1) Why  XO is  so  much  distorted  even though  XI is  clean?

    2) How  i can improve  my  XO  wave shape ?

    3)what is  purpose of  putting  1M resistance  bet  XI and  XO  in evalkit  and reference  circuit.

    Hi Abhishek,

    Are you having trouble with the hub function?   The 1M resistor is a feedback resistor, it is recommended but not required.
