HD3SS3411: Bias Resistor Size

Part Number: HD3SS3411

Hello,

Let's work from Figure 6 in the datasheet:

Given:

- AC coupling capacitors on both sides of the switch

- A Tx common mode-voltage above 2V, and we'd like to bias it to something a little lower:

Questions:

1. What would be the values for the pull-up resistors?   50 Ohms, or something much higher.

2. Does the VBIAS source need to be low-impedance?   Or can we use a simple resistor divider with a noise capacitor from the mid-point to GND?
