Hello,
My USB controller (FT600) has the SSTx & SSRx paths crossed over when compared to the pins on the HD3SS3220, so I would need to change routing layers on one of the pairs, which I would like to avoid.
I have seen in the "HD3SS3220 DFP Dongle Evaluation Module" (SLLU237–March 2016) that it appears the TX & RX data paths are swapped so the TX pair goes on the RX switch in the HD3SS3220, and vise versa:
But in the schematic for the TIDA-00891 UFP design example TX is on the TX path and RX is on the RX path:
So my question is: Can I swap use the TX path for my RX and RX path for my TX?
Or in other words, is the MUX in the HD3SS3220 just a switch and does not depend on the data direction?
Looking forward to any help!
Thanks, Ken
