TCA6507: Choosing pull up resistor values based on simulating the open drain structure of the LED pins

Part Number: TCA6507

Can someone offer a process to validating pull up resistor value decisions?

I am using six 20mA through hole LEDs. 3 white LEDs will flash, then 3 amber LEDs will flash.

I simulated a simple circuit to illustrate the open drain structure of the LED pins using a BJT NPN, one LED, and one resistor.

My resistor values seem pretty low compared to other projects I have seen utilizing the TCA6507.

I requested the spice file from TI nearly 2 weeks ago, but I haven't been updated on if that will happen or not.

Summary: I would like to validate the 6 pull up resistor values needed to drive the 20mA LEDs.

For context, the LEDs are performing a flash function for image capture to be passed into a convolutional neural network for disease diagnosis.

Thank you, for anyone reading, this is time sensitive and I would really appreciate some insight!
