Please review section 7.3.12 of the DP83TD510 datasheet for reference on how to enable TDR

Yes, I have looked at the data sheet but it does not say anything about how the TDR function works, what data it generates or what the data mean.  Is there an application note on this?

TDR function can be used for diagnostics and although this is a different device this application note gives you a high level overview of what type of capabailities it has 

Application note SNLA253 appears to be for a part different from the DP83TD510E intended for the single-pair ethernet.  Is there an ap note for the TDR function that is relevant?

Hi Maris

We do not have a TDR application note for single pair ethernet however the functionality of the diagnostics should be similar. Is there a reason you need to understand the mechanism for this application?
