My customer is using TUSB544 in the notebook project, they run the Test 3.2_Non Pre-Emphasis Level Verification Testing auto testing program, but all the configurations are failed. The test report is attached, can you check and suggest?测试报告0204 (3).xlsx

    Hi Peter,

    I see customer has max out the DC gain setting, is there a reason for this? Have they tried lower DC gain settings with the linear range set to 1100 mVpp (0x0C = 0x50 or 0x58)? Lowering EQ values slightly and using slightly different EQ settings for Lane 1 and 2 may also help.

    Please communicate that while tuning the redriver settings may not be enough to get all lanes to pass this test. There is some clear variation lane to lane. Depending on the result, the customer will need to also tune their DP source, once the best redriver settings are found, to get a passing result.
