DP83825I: Change polarity of TX+/TX-, RX+/RX-

Hi Team,

My customer is designing PCB layout, for routing trace smoothly R&D would like to swap the polarity of TX+ and TX-, RX+ and RX- respectively, but not enable mirror mode. Is it workable to change Reg0x000B[6] to '1' to achieve this function?

Hi Vincent,

If port mirroring is not required, the PHY already has a polarity detection feature. See register 0x10[12]. PHY should detect and correct polarity. Polarity status can be read from this register.
