AM26C31: Question, related with Vod.

Hi,

My customer has the questions of AMC26C31 output.  Please advise us.

  1. Datasheet said Vod (Differential output voltage magnitude) = 3.1V (Typ) on RL = 100ohm. This condition is Figure 2. On this condition, does this current flow on Vod/RL=31mA?  Please let us know.   Also, on this condition, are IOH, IOL over 20mA (Recommended operation condition Ioh/Iol)??
  2. Datasheet said Vod (Differential output voltage magnitude) = 3.1V (Typ) on RL = 100ohm. Is Vod depend on RL? For example, if RL is larger tham 100ohm, Vod(min) is smaller than 2V.  Is it correct?  Also, if RL is smaller tham 100ohm, Vod(min) is larger than 2V.  Is it correct?
  3. Which is influence of Vod variation, depend on lot variation or depend on temperature? Can TI provide the graph of Vod to understand trend of temperature?
  4. Can TI provide the graph/spec related with Vcc and Vod/Voh/Vol

    I'm sorry my original replies didn't show here. 

    1. Your calculation is correct. The load current is 31mA, which is higher than the recommended value. But if you check the output voltage vs. current curves in this thread, you will see the driver can work with 40mA to 50mA load current.

    2. Please check the curves I mentioned above, which include Vod and RL variations.

    3. The Vod depends on the temperature, voltage, process variations and load condition.

    4. Again please the curves in 1.
