is it possible to design a 20m USB3/USB2 extension cable by placing a TUSB501/TUSB211 every 5 m?

no, we can not support 20m cable. 10m max with USB 2 redriver and even less with USB 3 redriver

those products on Amazon should use USB hub

it will work. replace TUSB211 with TUSB216
