XIO2200A: TopHAT for Win10

The TopHAT_RC3 cannot be installed on Win10. Do you have newer version?

    Hi Nasser,

    My customer got issue on XIO2200A with Intel S2600CW2R server board. They cannot stream video successfully through FW port to a Sony DVD recorder. Under device manager (Windows 7/64-bit), both XIO2200A and the recorder shows working properly. We did further investigation and below are some findings:

    1. Other PCIe FW controllers, like XIO2213B and VIA VT6315, can stream video to the recorder under this server configuration. Only XIO2200A failed.

    2. Attaching a Sony DV camera to XIO2200A, video can be previewed and captured on Windows.

    3. When both DV camera and DVD recorder attached to XIO2200A, the DV camera can stream video to the recorder directly through XIO2200A as repeater. This indicates the physical link between XIO2200A and DVD recorder does not have issue.

    4. When stream video file on PC to the DVD recorder, the playback time is running much slower than normal. The video file was recorded at 25fps, the playback rate is around 3~4fps only.

    From the above findings, it the problem related to upstream memory read performance of the internal PCIe bridge? Could we solve this problem by changing device parameters through EEPROM?
