TPS65987D: Difference between 'GAID' and 'Gaid' command

Part Number: TPS65987D

Hi Team,

Pls help to elaborate the differences between the 'Gaid' and 'GAID' command and provide an example when should I use 'Gaid' instead of 'GAID' and vice versa.

From the TPS65987DDH (document 'slvubh2b') Technical Reference Manual, it describe 'Gaid' command causes a warm restart of the PD Controller, while 'GAID' would issue a cold restart and force the controller to reboot its OTP bootloader.

Look forward to your comments and thanks in advance.

Thanks and regards,

Don
