Dear Team,
My customer would like to know if TPS2546 can support D3/L2 state?
It seems like Intel suggest them to implement this modern standby function.
Is it a "must have" function or just a "better to have" function?
Regards,
Thanks.

Hi Jim,
To me, this is a system level function which could be mapped to the state of the charging port controller (TPS2546). The host controller would interact with TPS2546 CTLx/ILIM_SEL pins to implement the desired charging state based on the system state. The TPS2546 charging states (based on CTLx/ILIM_SEL setting) can be found in the datasheet.
