Let me discuss about how to pull up the FAULT pin.
Customer is trying to pull up the FAULT pin to external power source (3.3V).

Hi ,
TPS2557 Datasheet maximum Fault pin sink current need below 25mA , so you should use a resistor to limit the current no exceed 25mA. On the other hand max voltage need below 7V .
