TUSB1210: UTMI to ULPI wrapper

Part Number: TUSB1210

Sir,

1.  I have programmed USB link controller with USB3300 UTMI to ULPI wrapper on FPGA board. It is having USB 3300 UTMI to ULPI PHY.

2. Now I have replaced the USB3300 PHY with TUSB1210 PHY as per the TUSB1210 Board design guidelines.

3. can I use same USB3300 UTMI to ULPI wrapper for my USB link controller design.

4. TUSB1210 UTMI to ULPI wrapper is available, Please give me details.

5. I am waiting for your valuable res[ponse.

    Dear Danababu,

    The TUSB1210 is compliant with the UTMI+Low Pin Interface (ULPI) specification revision 1.1; hence any link controller supporting the ULPI interface should work with the TUSB1210 without any further changes. In other words, if your design was working with the USB3300, it should seamlessly work with the TUSB1210 without any further changes.

    There is no wrapper or code we provide with this device.

    Thank You Jorge.

    1. Any phy reset difference is there between TUSB1210 and USB3300 PHY's.

    2. I am generating reset from my link controller design and giving to PHY reset pin.

    3. I don't have external reset pin on my FPGA board.

    4. In USB3300 project, PHY was providing 60MHZ clock to my Link controller.

    5. In TUSB1210 project, PHY is in default mode. My link controller has to provide 60MHz clock to the PHY ULPI CLOCK.

    6. I am facing a problem with ULPI data and ULPI Clock synchronization.

    7. Please help me.
