BQ24392: About unused pin

The CHA_AL_N is required to have a 10K pull up. The CHG_DET should have a 10K pull down.  In what application are you using the BQ24392 without DP_HOST and DM_HOST connected?

Application is battery charger.
Customer wants to detect CDP/SDP using bq24392.
Other detection and control are performed by MUC.

If in the case of unused below pin, which these pin correct for Open or Pulldown?
・Pin2　DM_HOST
・Pin3　DP_HOST

However,
・Pin4　CHG_AL_N is open drain.
・CHG_DET is push-pull.

Please tell me the disadvantage of setting these two terminals to OPEN.
Customers want to OPEN processing in order to reduce the cost and board area.
Could you give me your advice?

I am sorry I didn't explain it clearly enough.

Customer wants bq24392 to detect only DCP or SDP/CDP
Customer use bq24392 with 5 pins and 1 pin pulled up.
DCP is high, and SDP / CDP high and low are distinguished.
The customer made a detection by this.
