I have a PowerPC board with the TUSB9260 soldered down and I need to flash the EEPROM. Would you please provide the source code for the Linux flash burner tool?

Since this is taking so long to get approval, is it possible to program the EEPROM prior to populating it on the board? If so can you provide the instructions on how it could be done? I tried to simply take one of the binary images in the firmware package and program it into the EEPROM with an external programmer prior to soldering it onto the board. However, even after doing this the device still shows up with the bootloader device id, so it did not seem to work.

Hi, apologies for the delay. I'm waiting on one final person to approve so I can get this going. I just pinged them a reminder. I believe the programmer tool pre-pends some descriptor or header and checksum information so programming the binary directly won't work unless you first use the tool to program and then read back that image for subsequent programming.

This is now the only remaining item that still needs to be tested on our prototype boards. If I can not get access to the flash code soon then we will have to design in a different solution.
