Hellow! We have some problems with SN74LVC2T45MDCTTEP (DUAL-BIT DUAL-SUPPLY BUS TRANSCEIVER WITH CONFIGURABLE VOLTAGE TRANSLATION AND 3-STATE OUTPUTS) with marking NXR59Z on the top of device, and much more less problems with the same device, but with marking NXR72Z.

So, there is question: what does this marking means?

there are not much information about it in datashit :

"(4) There may be additional marking, which relates to the logo, the lot trace code information, or the environmental category on the device.

(5) Multiple Device Markings will be inside parentheses. Only one Device Marking contained in parentheses and separated by a "~" will appear on a device. If a line is indented then it is a continuation of the previous line and the two combined represent the entire Device Marking for that device."

    Hi Stanislav,

    The top side marking represent 2 things
    1) a short form for identifying the right device, this marking will be listed in the datasheet on the packaging addendum page.
    2) Production information internal to TI. represents the date of manufacture, the site of manufacturing.

    If you could let me know what exactly is the issue, may be I can help more.

    We are working with a complicated navigation system, so after manufactoring we make  final inspection (tests), and there are often problems with SN74LVC2T45MDCTTEP with marking NXR 74Z; and when we use element with marking NXR 59Z - we have more often problems.

    I wood be very pleased if you can tell me: what exactly means marking "59" and "74" and is there any difference between such marked elements.

    59 would typically relate to year of manufacturing (mostly 2015) and 9 would be the month.

    I am seeing the datasheet page 20 in the packaging addendum page to see the top side device marking and i do not see NXR mentioned in it.
    There is no orderable with SN74LVC2T45MDCTTEP. can you confirm that this is right?
