TXS0102: Question about "VIH High-Level Input Voltage" in 6.3 Recommended Operating Conditions.

Part Number: TXS0102
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TXS0101

 Hello guys,

One of my customers is considering using TXS0102 for their new products. They have the following question about TXS0102. Could you please give me your answers?

1. In the recommended Operating Condition table on page5 of the latest TXS0102 datasheet (SCES640H), we can see two minimum values (VCCI-0.2V and VCCI-0.4V) of High-level input voltage of A-port I/Os. What is difference between the two minimum values? Is there any condition difference?

2. TXS0102 has 10kohm resistors internally. We know the resistor typical value is 10kohm. What are the maximum and minimum values of the resister?

3. TXS0102 has Nch MOSFET between An and Bn. What is this MOSFET on resistance? Also what are the minimum and maximum values of the MOSFET on resistance?

Your reply would be much appreciated.

 Best regards,

 Kazuya Nakai.

  • Kazuya -san,

Sorry, I couldn't reply yesterday, i will look into this and reply soon
  • Kazuya -san,

    1. I believe that it needs to be updated as per the TXS0101 datasheet VIH levels. I will initiate a correction on this. Thanks for pointing out.
    2. The min-max value could vary from 6.5k to 15k.
    3. We do not have the information simulated in the design. From a rough calculation based on the app note listed below, I calculate the resistance to be about 20-50 ohms. note that this is not across PVT corners, so the deviation could be higher.
