ISO1640-Q1: Difference between ISO1640BQDRQ1 and XISO1640BQDRQ1

Part Number: ISO1640-Q1

Hello,

Since the regular part ISO1640BQDRQ1 is out of stock we are considering using XISO1640BQDRQ1. Please let us know if they both have any difference in functionality.

  • Hi Shyama:

Thanks for posting your question on E2E!

XISO1640BQDRQ1 and ISO1640BQDRQ1 are the same device and functionally identical. However, "X" marked devices are pre-production samples (before ISO1640BQDRQ1 qualification testing was fully completed for release).

Per TI's pre-production waiver process, the customer must accept these “X” marked parts with ‘all faults’ and they are non-returnable.  TI does not warranty/guarantee pre-production samples and therefore we do not accept quality related defect analysis as these samples are intended only for engineering/prototype use at customers.

    Hope this helps!

  • Hello Dushmantha,

Thank you for your reply. Please tell us when can we expect ISO1640BQDRQ1 to be back in stock, or the version ISO1640BDR.

  • Hi Shyama:

ISO1640BQDRQ1 is in pre-production state and only "X" marked parts are available. Unfortunately, I'm unable to disclose the exact timeline of the full release ofISO1640BQDRQ1 in this public forum. You may reach out to your local TI representative for additional details.

On the other hand, ISO1640BQDR is fully released. However, we're out of stock in our TI store due to high demand. Please register for notifications by clicking "Notify me when available" in TI store.

    Regards,

    Dushmantha
