ISO7330FC: Vcc1 and Vcc2

Part Number: ISO7330FC

Hello,

My customer has a couple of questions about Vcc1 and Vcc2 as follows.

Q1:

Are their any power up sequence to be followed for Vcc1 and Vcc2?

Q2:
Vcc1 is on and Vcc2 is off does not damage ISO7330FC at all?
How about Vcc2 is on and Vcc1 is off?

Best regards,

K.Hirano

  • Hi Hirano-san,

Thanks for reaching out. Please find my inputs below.

Are their any power up sequence to be followed for Vcc1 and Vcc2?

There is no specific power-up sequence requirement for VCC1 and VCC2, either of them can be powered first.

Vcc1 is on and Vcc2 is off does not damage ISO7330FC at all?
How about Vcc2 is on and Vcc1 is off?

ISO7330 has two die that are completely isolated from each other where one is powered by VCC1 and the other by VCC2. Since they are isolated, either of them can be independently powered. Even if you keep only one VCC powered for the entire life of device, the device will still not be damaged. Thanks.
