ISOW7821: Can the device regulate 3.3V to 5V?

Hello,

I can see that the datasheet clearly shows 3 use cases for VCC to VISO which are

5V to 5V
5V to 3.3V
3.3V to 3.3V

Will 3.3V to 5V not work at all? Could it work for a much lower output current?

Hi John,

Thanks for reaching out.
ISOW7821 does support 3.3V input to 5V output voltage configuration but with a lower output current of 40mA. The datasheets need to be updated and will be updated to include these changes. Please refer to below ISOW7841A-Q1 datasheet for a confirmation on 3.3V to 5V support and its electrical characteristics later in the datasheet.

Thanks for the support fast support! Any idea on when the ISOW7821 datasheet updates will occur? Customer will need confirmed numbers to use on their design.
