ISO1212: Could you help to share the IS01212 benift than MAX22518

I need a relay signal detect with isolation

survey the TI/ ISO1212, &  Max22518

The max22518 Power consumption Is less than TI ,Right

The ISO1212 output is postive logic output, when input is high, right?

if the input is high, i hope the output is negative logic output, may i do the setup?

    1. The max22518 Power consumption Is less than TI ,Right?

    To estimate the power consumption, we can use the following equation.
    Power consumption = filed side current * filed side voltage + logic side current * logic side voltage.

    MAX22518 is a digital isolator, and hence it draws very little current at the input with the filed side current of 220uA. A 10kohm resistor is needed at the input to support the 24V field voltage. The logic side current of MAX22518 is 10mA. Therefore, the power consumption for a single channel device is 220uA*24V + 10mA*5 = 55.3mA 

    ISO1212 is an isolated digital input receiver and it complies with IEC61131. It is built to draw a current of 2.2mA at the field side specified by the IEC61131 standard. The logic side current is 4mA at 5V. The calculated power consumption for a single channel device is 2.2mA*24V + 4mA*5V = 72.8mA

    Yes. ISO1212 is positive logic. The output logic follows the input logic.

    3. if the input is high, i hope the output is negative logic output, may i do the setup?

    ISO1212 does not have an inverting output. 
    FYI, page 31 of the ISO1212 datasheet shows a configuration with a bidirectional input module that detects
    both negative and positive inputs and outputs a positive logic that may be your interest.
