ISO7741: common mode voltage transient immunity

Part Number: ISO7741

Hello E2E,

we want to use ISO7741FDBQ in an application with a Common Mode voltage swing of 300V with rise / fall times of 100 V / ns

The datasheet provide 85 V / ns @ 1200V common mode voltage.

Do you have information about the cmti  for a common mode voltage of 300V? Are the limits the same?

Regards Christian

  • Hi Christian,

Thanks for reaching out and for your interest in ISO7741.
With a common-mode voltage swing of 300V, we expect 100V/ns to be fine with ISO7741. This is not something we have specifically tested or guarantee, but we do expect the device to support higher CMTI at lower common-mode voltages. I hope that helps, thanks.
