ISO7720-Q1: prime side lose power and secondary side output

In the datasheet desicribe‘In the event of input power or signal loss, the default output is high for devices without suffix F and low for devices with suffix F." my question as follows:

1. use ISO7720-Q1 design, without suffix F, if the prime side of the chip lose power(eg:5V), are the secondary side of pin 6 and pin 7 still outputs high level either on or off?

Thank you for posting, and welcome to E2E!

In the case where side two (Vcc2) of the ISO7720-Q1 is powered but Vcc1 loses power, OUTA and OUTB will output a continuous HIGH signal until power and input signals are restored to side one.

if VCC2 lose power, what about the pin outA and outB status?

Hi Qin,

If VCC2 loses power, the internal die cannot function and hence, there won't be any output. If VCC2 = 0V then the outputs OUTA and OUTB will be in floating / open. I hope this answers your question, thanks.
