Yes, your understanding is correct. ISO7762F (failsafe LOW output) is the closest alternative to Si8651BD-B-IS. Please do note that ISO7762F isn't pin-to-pin compatible with Si8651BD-B-IS and hence, can't directly be replaced in existing designs. But since the only difference lies in pins 7 and 10, if these pins are left floating or connected to their respective VCC through a pull-up resistor, then Si8651BD-B-IS can safely be replaced with ISO7762F in existing designs without needing any change in the PCB. But if pin 7 EN1 is connected to VCC1 directly, then ISO7762F can't be used in existing designs as is.
The full part number of ISO7762F to replace Si8651BD-B-IS is ISO7762FDW. Thanks.
