ISO7710: Start-up time

Part Number: ISO7710

Hi Team,

The E2E thread stated that the absolute maximum start-up time for ISO7710 is 180us. I have asked the customer for the supply voltage, ramp time and ambient temp and here is his response.

Please restrict to the ideal case where the chip's operating voltage (e.g., 5V) is applied instantly and the ambient temperature is 25C. Also assume that the input signal is ready at the time of supply voltage applied. Looking for typical value and maximum value of the chip's startup time under this ideal condition.

Is the start-up time for ISO7710-Q1 the same?

Regards,

Danilo

  • Hi Danilo,

    Thanks for reaching out.

The worst-case start-up time of ISO7710 is going to be 180µs even under ideal operating conditions. Start-up time is measured from the supply voltage from where the device starts working, hence, in about 180µs worst-case, the device will be ready to transfer all the input data to the output.

The typical value of start-up is going to be about 100µs.

Yes, ISO7710-Q1 is the exact same design as ISO7710 and hence, will have the same start-up times. Thanks.
