ISO1042: 16-Pin package, can pin 10 (GND2) be left floated?

Hi there!

I want to have a pin compatible situation with the IL 41050TE. This device has a Vref output at pin 10.

Is it possible to let PIN 10 of ISO1042 floating? or do i have to connect it to GND2 with a 0ohm resistor?
