Are there any isolators that allow up to 12 V supply voltage and pin compatible with ISO7420?

    Hi Hsin-Che,

    Thanks for reaching out.

    Unfortunately, we do not have any digital isolators that can be powered with 12V. You can use a DC/DC converter or an LDO to bring it down to 5V or lower and then can power the digital isolator.
    If your input digital signal that needs to be isolated is also a 12V signal then you could use ISO1211 which can operate just with the input signal and without a need for a separate power supply.
    If the input signal that needs to be isolated is an analog signal with >5V swing, then you could look at ISO224.

    Please note that neither ISO1211 nor ISO224 are pin-compatible to ISO7420 as all these devices offer different functionality. Let me know if you have any questions, thanks.
