ISO6762: Reliability Data Sample Size Confirmation

Part Number: ISO6762

Hello,

I want to make sure I am interpreting these columns correctly in the TI reliability data sheet. Could you confirm if my interpretation is correct?

For TC and THB stress, 25 separate lots with a minimum qty of 3 individual parts were tested at the stress level and passed functional tests? So a minimum of 75 parts have been tested?

Thank you,

Chris

  • Hi Chris,

Welcome to TI E2E forum and thanks for showing interest in ISO6762.

Your understanding for at least 75 units tested is correct. SS/lot is the sample size per lot which, in this case, says that sample size is 25 units for each lot. Minimum lot quantity is the minimum number of lots that are used for testing. Hence, it is 3 lots with each lot containing 25 samples resulting a total of 75 units that have been tested and passed.

Let me know if you have any further questions, thanks.
