ISO1211: Frequency carrier across the barrier and radiation emission

Part Number: ISO1211

Hi Experts,

Good day.

May we know what is the frequency of the carrier through the isolation barrier? and is there any data about radiated emission (electric field)?

Keep safe.

Regards,

Josel

  • Hi Joselito,

    Thanks for reaching out.

The frequency of the carrier through the isolation barrier is 450 MHz.

We have not tested radiated emissions for the ISO1211, but we do expect radiated emissions test data for this device to be similar to the radiated emissions test data for the ISO77xx. Here is radiated emissions test data for the ISO77xx:

  • Hi Kenneth,

Could you confirm that ISO1211 doesn't incorporate advanced circuit techniques to minimize the radiated
emissions due to the high-frequency carrier and IO buffer switching, unlike the ISO77xx? If so, we might expect higher radiated emissions.

    Keep safe.

    Regards,

    Josel

  • Hi Joselito,

Both the ISO1211 and the ISO77xx incorporate the same techniques to minimize radiated emissions. This includes techniques such as Spread Spectrum Modulation.

    Kenneth
