Hi Team,

My customer has questions about ISO-11898 standard-

Does ISO-11898 standard specify the test conditions for CAN driver/receiver switching characteristics(tR, tF, etc.)? Or are they specified by TI?

Since I don't have ISO-11898 document on hand, could you share the relevant paragragh with me as well?

    Hi Charles,

    The ISO-11898 standard recommends a 60 Ω termination resistor, but does not specify any test conditions for switching characteristics. The test conditions that you have identified in the datasheet are typical test conditions for CAN devices.
