If VCCO (output VCC) is not powered but VCCI is, the output signal voltage is "undetermined".  What are the bounding voltages that the output signal could be during this state?  Would the internal diodes become activated?

  • Hello TC,

    Thank you for your question.

Given the conditions you have described, when the VCCO is not powered, and VCCI is powered the output of the device will be 0V since the output side is off. The "undetermined" state applies when VCCO is turning on or ramping up to a powered-on state. Here, "powered-on" refers to the lowest recommended supply voltage, 2.25V.

    I hope this helps.

    Best,

    Andrew
