Hello,

My customer is looking for an isolation solution for the power and control lines of the INA238.

Since they plan to isolate between low power block and high power block, the INA238's Vs and I2C lines, etc, should be isolated from the host MCU.

Could you please recommend a suitable solution?

    Thanks for reaching out.

    I see that INA238 has an I2C interface and I understand that customer is looking to isolate the I2C interface and the power. We currently do not have a DC/DC converter integrated single chip I2C isolator. I am listing below the best solutions to achieve I2C and power isolation.

    1. ISO1640 (for I2C) + ISOW7721 (for DC/DC)
      1. The data channels in ISOW7721 might not be needed by customer. If so, customer can only use the DC/DC and leave the data channels unused.
    2. ISO1640 (for I2C) + SN6505B / SN6507 (for DC/DC)
