ISO6761: Creepage Distance

Part Number: ISO6761

The datasheet reports the creepage and clearance values (CLR and CPG, pg.8) are >8mm but the suggested footprint shows copper that is <8mm apart between the isolated pins. What is the recommended footprint layout to maintain >8mm creepage and clearance?

  • Hello James,

Thank you for reaching out. We are currently in the process of revising the package drawings in the datasheet from DW0016A to DW0016B. The mechanical drawings in the ISO776x datasheet contain the new revision, DW0016B, and can be used for the >8mm recommended footprint.

    I hope this helps.

    Best,

    Andrew
