ISO7230M: ISO7230MDWR

Part Number: ISO7230M

Hello TI Team,

I have one question related to this part number ISO7230MDWR

There is a PDN 20230621003.3 issued on this PN mentioning that is not pin to pin compatible with ISO7730DWR. But comparing the 2 datasheets for this e PNs there is a pin to pin compatibile, even footprint and land pattern are the same.

I want to use the recomended PN in the PDN, but I am a little confused by the info available in these documents.

Can you please share more info in order to clarify the situation?

Thank you in advance for your help and support.

Best regards,

Ciprian

  • Hello Ciprian,

Thank you for your question. The ISO7230MDWR and the ISO7730DWR have the same pin out and package, but they differ in data rates. The ISO7230MDWR has a max of 150Mbps and the ISO7730DWR has a max of 100Mbps. If your application does not require a data rate greater than 100Mbps, the ISO7730DWR will be a good replacement.

    Regards,
    Darrah
