Hi team,
Could you please recommend isolated polarity-freeRS485 transiever and non-isolated polarity-freeRS485 transiever? Thanks!

Hi Nison,
When you use the term "polarity-free", I am assuming you are referring to the polarity correction feature, where the device will be able to detect the bus polarity upon startup and adjust the polarity of the A & B pins accordingly. If this is not the case, please let me know.
We don't have any isolated RS-485 transceivers that have this polarity correction feature.
To provide recommendations for non-isolated RS-485 transceivers that have this polarity correction feature, I have looped in the transceivers team.
Regards,
Kenneth
Hi Nison,
I currently don't know of a device that can adjust the "A" and "B" RS-485 pins for a polarity mis-match that is non-isolated. I believe our devices assume that correct inverting and non-inverting RS-485 inputs are applied to the device.
I have also notified Parker about this topic as he knows the RS-485 portfolio in depth and might be able to make further comments on this topic. Please allow him some time to get back to you next week since he is currently out of office.
Regards,
Tyler
