ISO6721R: ISO6721RFBDR

Part Number: ISO6721R

We are planning to buy bulk quantity of the below mentioned parts for our projects. So, I need few details about it, please explain in detail.

  1. How much area is required to store 3000 quantities of the part (ISO6721RFBDR)? Please tell the packaging also.
  2. Is there are any storage requirements for this part? If any, please provide that.
  3. How do this part degrade over time? Or do they?
  4. Does it come hermetically sealed?

    Thank you for your question!

    I have answered your questions below:

    1. The devices come packages in a reel. The dimensions of the reel and the box that the reel comes in are in the ISO6721R datasheet. Please refer to Pack Materials-Page 1 and Pack Materials-Page 2 in the datasheet for the dimensions of the reel and box.
    2. The ISO6721R has a storage requirement which is based off of the MSL rating of the device. As show on Addendum-Page 1 on the datasheet, this device has an MSL rating of level 2. An MSL rating of level 2 indicates a floor life of 1 year with a 30 C temperature and 60% relative humidity in the factory.

    3. If the storage conditions based on the MSL rating is followed, there would be no degradation up to one year.
    4. If you mean airtight when you say “hermetically sealed”, then yes, the ISO6721R reel is contained in an airtight ESD bag.
