ISOW1412: Logic Supply Current for Driver & Receiver disabled condition

Part Number: ISOW1412

Hello, I am checking ISOW1412 for a new design & wanted to know the Logic Supply Current in my application standby condition (Driver & Receiver disabled) but Power Converter in Active condition (i.e Visoout=5V).

In datasheet section 8.9, I found that Logic Supply Current for Driver & Receiver disabled condition is 3.2mA Typically which looks to be on higher side. Please can you confirm if I am referring to correct value.

  • Hi KrnB,

    Thank you for reaching out.

The current IIO into logic supply VIO that that you are referring to is correct. Since the logic supply idle current of 3.2mA is much lower than the isolated DC/DC idle current (~15mA), there are no low power modes implemented in the device for logic supply.

Let me know if you have further questions, thanks.
