Can I connect two different IC which works different voltage domain same can bus line?

My old nodes are MAX3051EKA+T, I want to use ISO1042BQDWVRQ1 at my new nodes.

MAX3051 working at 3.3V, ISO1042 working at 5V.

Is this system can work properly?

Hello Fatih,

Thank you for reaching out. Yes, 3.3AV CAN and 5V CAN nodes should be able to be connected together. Most 3.3V transceivers are designed to align with the 5V CAN common mode and threshold standards.
